The Style 2 Big Ben in the solid finish colors were
offered from 1930 until 1932.
|
This is an excellent example of the style 2 Big
Ben in the green finish. Most of these became
damaged over time and the bases are missing, broken or
cracked. This one is structurally sound, with no
problems with the base. It has the same movement as
the peg leg Big Ben, with a loud ticking sound and a loud
alarm.
This one was made in December of 1930.
Made in LaSalle, Illinois, USA
CONDITION of the clock:
The original embossed dial is VERY GOOD.
The movement has been restored to like-new mechanical
condition. As you can see in the pictures, the paint
is in good condition for it's age. The label for the
settings on top are clear and legible. I protected it
with a layer of clear plastic.
Two Year
warranty.
